W.Nr. 2.4816 / Alloy 600 / Inconel 600 is a nickel-chromium alloy with good oxidation resistance at high temperatures and resistance to chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking, corrosion by high purity water, and caustic corrosion. Used for furnace components, chemical and food processing, nuclear engineering (reactor construction) and spark plug electrodes. High temperature alloy W.Nr. 2.4816 / Alloy 600 / Inconel 600 is used in the chemical and petrochemical industries. W.Nr. 2.4816 / Alloy 600 / Inconel 600 product range are tubes, pipes, fittings and flanges, accessories.

Detailed application areas are;

  • Transport rollers, steel pipes, ventilators and other facilities in industrial furnaces
  • Industrial furnace bells, especially for heat treatment in N2 atmospheres
  • Thermal element protection tubes in nitriding and carburizing environments
  • Pipes for dichlorethylene pyrolysis
  • Components in the production of uranium tetrafluoride from hydrofluoric acid
  • Production of caustic alkalis, especially by the presence of sulfur bonds
  • Reaction vessels and heat exchanger pipes in vinyl chloride production
  • Parts for chlorinated and fluorinated hydrocarbons production
  • Parts such as lining pipes for control rods, reactor tanks and seals, steam dryers and separators in boiling water reactors
  • Tubes in TiCl4 evaporators in TiO2 production
  • Containers and pipes containing caustic solution
  • Alloy, high temperature sensors, tear discs, spark plugs and gaskets in airbag systems for the automotive industry
