2.4869 / UNS N06003 – NiCr20 – Inconel Alloy MA754

2.4869 (NiCr 8020) is an alloy with electrical resistance with a limit operating temperature of - 1230 ° C.

This alloy provides outstanding performances at temperatures up to 1200 ° C and offers superior working life compared to other nickel-chrome alloys. NiCr 8020 is characterized by high resistance, good oxidation resistance (especially under frequent switching or wide temperature fluctuation conditions), very good form stability, good ductility after use, and excellent weldability.

2.4869 (NiCr 8020) is used for electric heating elements in household appliances and industrial furnaces. Typical applications are: irons, water heaters, heavy-duty resistors, tubular elements, electric cooking equipment, heating batteries, electric ovens, etc.
